Overview
Beautiful Oakhurst Garden was the first garden in the Wylde Center family. It was founded in 1997 as a community garden that focused on environmental education. Since then, the garden has seen a lot of change, most recent with large-scale improvements to the garden and the building on the property. Because it was the first garden, people often refer to Oakhurst Garden as Wylde Center.
Although only 1.5 acres, Oakhurst Garden has so much to explore including Wylde Woods, Wylde Plant Market, rain gardens, and mini ecosystems throughout.
