Meet the Wylde Winter Camp Educators
Elizabeth Goethe – Elizabeth’s lifelong passion for the life sciences and the natural world shines through in her work as an Educator at the Wylde Center, where she inspires children to connect with the environment in meaningful ways. Though her academic background is in art, with a BFA from the University of Georgia, she discovered her love for environmental education while teaching at a local preschool. Since joining the Wylde Center team in 2022, this Atlanta native has focused on engaging young minds with hands-on experiences that foster curiosity and care for the natural world. Elizabeth believes that encouraging children and adults to explore and appreciate their environment can create happier communities and a healthier planet. In her free time, she volunteers as a wildlife rehabilitator at the AWARE Wildlife Center and enjoys outdoor adventures with her young daughter, husband, and their many pets.
