Virtual Summer Series for Kids: Ms. Nichole Explores… Fruits from Trees! (Thursday, June 25)

Wylde Center has made the difficult decision to cancel our in-person summer camp operations due to the impact of COVID-19. In response, we are excited to offer a virtual program series that will engage your child in some of our favorite summer camp topics, encourage them to get outdoors, and inspire them to be closer to nature!
Each session of the Virtual Summer Series will be 30-45 minutes long – the perfect length for the young, curious kid during summer break- and will introduce participants to our educator’s favorite summer time topics. Every session will conclude by introducing an engaging activity that will encourage those young and old to get outside and explore!
Registrants will be sent the program access link the morning of their scheduled program. We will send the information to the email address provided by the customer at the time of the transaction (don’t forget to check your spam folder!). Have your plans changed? No worries, all registrants will also be sent a recording of the program to view at their convenience.

Ms. Nichole Explores… Fruits from Trees! (Thursday, June 25)
The final leg of our journey finds us looking up for fruits that grow on trees. We’ll visit some local fruit trees in the city, dissect a peach pit, and get busy making an oat streusel for a peach (or other fruit) cobbler.
