Whether you are new to gardening or you want to share your expertise, Morning Garden Club is a series of mini webinars to connect with other school gardeners and learn specific tips for making your garden program a success!
Each month Wylde Center staff will host a Morning Garden Club with a 10-minute training or interview and then open the floor up for questions and discussion.
Grab your coffee and join for the entire session or hop on to ask a question! This is a casual, quick meet-up for educators, school garden coordinators, and volunteers to connect before the start of their school day.
August 10th: “Welcome back to the Garden! What do I do first?” Returning to the school garden from summer break can be intimidating. You may come back to a garden with a ton of growth, weeds, flowers, and veggies to harvest or you may come back to a dried-up bed. Either way, it can feel like you don’t know where to start. In this webinar, we will discuss simple ways to make it more manageable and bring students outside to learn in the garden.
