Morning School Garden Club: Teaching about Pollinators in the Garden
April 11 @ 7:30 am - 8:00 am
FreeWhether you are new to gardening or you want to share your expertise, Morning Garden Club is a series of mini webinars to connect with other school gardeners and learn specific tips for making your garden program a success!
Each month Wylde Center staff will host a Morning Garden Club with a 10-minute training or interview and then open the floor up for questions and discussion.
Grab your coffee and join for the entire session or hop on to ask a question! This is a casual, quick meet-up for educators, school garden coordinators, and volunteers to connect before the start of their school day.
April 11th: “Teaching about Pollinators in the Garden” The garden is an excellent visual to learn about pollination and pollinators, but you may realize you don’t know how to answer all of your students’ questions once you get out there: types of bees or how exactly honey is made. In this webinar, we’ll discuss the basics of teaching pollination in the garden, fun pollination games we like to play, and try to answer obscure questions you may have about bees and pollinators.
