SOLD OUT Wylde Gardening Series: Grow your Fall Vegetables from Seed

August is the perfect time to start your fall vegetables from seed for mid-September planting.
Students taking this class will
- learn about the vegetables they can plant in September;
- learn about the Winter Sowing method by converting clear plastic containers such as milk jugs into mini-greenhouses;
- sow out at least 6 fall vegetables reusing clear plastic containers; each student should expect to end up with at several plants for their fall garden;
- transplant seedlings in the class to take home.
We are going to have a great time! All materials will be provided.
Instructor: Stephanie Van Parys is the Executive Director at Wylde Center. She earned a degree in horticulture from the University of Georgia, and for the last 30 years, has been growing vegetables in our beautiful red clay soils.
Class will be held in person Sunday, August 13, 3PM – 5 PM at our Edgewood Community Learning Garden. Session limited to 20 pre-registered participants. The Edgewood Community Learning Garden is located at 53 Mayson Ave NE, Atlanta, GA 30317.
