Designing Your Dream Garden: Layout & Placement

The “Can You Dig It” Gardening Series teaches practical, sustainable gardening skills through hands-on activities and expert instruction. Hosted by Kia Jones, each class builds on the last, covering essential techniques for healthy, organic gardening. Each class stands on its own, take one or take them all!
Attendees will learn how to blueprint their garden using teachings from companion planting and crop rotation principles. This class covers how to maximize garden space for sunlight and water access as well as how to support biodiversity with a mix of florals and herbs.
Hands-On Activity:
- Design a personalized garden plan incorporating all lessons learned.
- Plant seedlings to learn transplanting techniques, proper spacing, and ideal placement.
