Rebuild Oakhurst Garden Children’s Area

Picture of Tree Damage at Oakhurst Garden

This past April, two trees fell in a storm at the Oakhurst Garden, a greenspace used by hundreds of school children from Atlanta and Decatur for field trips and environmental science education and which sees thousands of community visitors each year. The trees landed in the children’s area damaging the cob house, perimeter fence, entry arbor, and our pollinator garden. Your gift of any amount will support:

  • Repair of the cob house, fence, and entry arbor,
  • New plants for the damaged pollinator garden, and
  • Interactive play items that promote exploration, creativity and imagination
